WHAT'S INSIDE YOUR LANGLY?
The kit that I travel with covers me for any possible scenario. It includes my Canon 5D mkII along with a full Canon lens kit including; 16-38mm, 24-70mm, 50mm and 70-200mm. If theres room I also bring along my DJI Phantom 3 drone.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO EXPLORE?
The thing that motivates me most to explore is the knowledge that the world is so large. The fact that you could imagine a place in your head and find it exists somewhere on this planet is exciting. It's just a matter of getting up and discovering it for yourself.
WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR INSPIRATION?
Most of my daily inspiration comes from my peers and those who i closely follow on Instagram. I am very inspired by the work of others and often find myself trying to replicate these concepts wherever I may be at that point in time, whether it be a unique new perspective captured from a drone, or a great new creative concept, I love feeding off of and collaborating with others.
FILM VS DIGITAL?
I grew up in a digital age and for me shooting digital is more a more practical photography solution. Apart from this the world of digital photography opens up so many more opportunities for creativity, I love the fact that the image is not complete when the shutter goes off.
WHAT'S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE PHOTO?
My most memorable photo is a shot I took of Bronte Rock Pool in Sydney Australia. I was setting up my drone when I was approached by a man who was interested in drones and seeing how they worked. I took off and began demonstrating how the drone operated. I was snapping away while talking to this man and was completely distracted from what I was doing. Later that day when I reviewed the shots I found what I believe to be one of my best pieces of work to date.
