Maine breed California living adventurer and photo taker.
WHAT'S INSIDE YOUR LANGLY?
Canon 5D Mark 3, 24-70mm 2.8L , 50mm 1.2L, 70-200mm 2.8L, Canon speedlight 600EX, a handful of disposables, Sony NEX7, either my Contax G2 or T2 and some Portra.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO EXPLORE?
I have an insatiable appetite for seeing new places. Growing up in the woods of Maine started me young. Nothing makes me happier than hiking a mountain and seeing the world from a different angle.
WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR INSPIRATION?
I find inspiration in just about everything in life. My family & friends, the outdoors, my skateboard, books & magazines, movies, relationships, love & heartbreak.
FILM VS DIGITAL?
I enjoy shooting both. I started out shooting film so it will always have a soft spot in my heart. They both have their place for me though. I'm a camera nerd so anything with a shutter and a lens gets me excited.
WHAT'S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE PHOTO?
This photo of my friends Jim and Sarah climbing to a lookout in Wyoming. We had spent the day exploring Yellowstone and decided to take the Bear Tooth Highway back to our cabin. This view was a right off the side of the road. The photo was taken at about 12,000 feet. It was the most beautiful drive I've ever been on and it was great to spend it with a group of close friends.
